Housing Developer Realtor Kings Developers Ltd has set in motion plans to put up 720 residential apartment units within Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County. This comes after the realtor sought to take advantage of the demand for residential units outside the city to expand the Nairobi Metropolitan Area.
“The project will be complete by December next year, with unit prices starting from Sh3.2 million,” said Sales and Marketing Vice President Vinayak Karambalkar.
Mr. Karambalkar further reveals that the residential apartments will each have two-bedrooms per unit. The site will feature a 10-block apartment design from the Royal Group of Companies affiliate.
Realtor Kings’ Housing Complex development makes part of the 572 project submissions presented from Kajiado County. This being a considerable chunk of the 5,156 project submissions that the National Construction Authority received within the 2018/19 fiscal year. In the report, NCA places Kajiado second after Nairobi which had the highest project submissions at 604
Data further reveals the county’s most active constituencies in terms of project applications at the NCA. Out of the five Kajiado North(Ngong, Ongata Rongai, and Kiserian) made 260 applications with Kajiado East having 217 submissions. Kajiado South had 29, Kajiado Central’s 52 and Kajiado West’s 14 bids.
