Kenya Confirms 16 More Cases of Covid-19 Bringing total to 216

The cabinet secretary, Mutahi Kagwe has announced that there are 16 new cases of Coranavirus in the country. The total number of confirmed cases has now risen to 262. From the 16 cases reported, 15 are Kenyans, and 1 is a foreigner. Twelve are males, and four are females. 

Seven more people have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours raising the tally of those discharged to 60. Two people in the previous 24 hours have died to bring the total number of death cases from Covid-19 to 13.

The ages of the confirmed cases are 8 people between 0-14 years, 70 people between 15-29 years, 164 people between 30-59years and 20 people who are above 60 years.

The CS emphasized on the need to obey the regulations put in place such as movement from one restricted area to another. He also warned those who are not following orders by stating that the law will used on them.

So far the USA have reported 712, 184 confirmed cases and 59, 532 people have recovered. It has 32, 832 deaths which are still higher than any nation around the world.

Globally, 2, 256,844 cases of covid-19 have been confirmed. Out of these, 571, 851 have recovered, and 154, 350 have lost their lives to covid-19.
