Kenya Confirms 12 more cases of COVID-19

The health cabinet secretary Mutahi Kagwe has confirmed that out of the 450 tests done in the last 24hours, 12 have turn out positive. The total number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus in the country is now at 246. 5 of the 12 cases are hotel workers, and 4 are from contact tracing.

The total number of recoveries stands at 53 and death cases at 11.

The country has also received donations from China, including 500,000 three-ply masks, 200, 000 testing and sampling tubes, 4000 shoe covers for front health workers and 76,000 N95 masks and faces shades. All these donations are to help to fight against the virus.

The USA has so far recorded 676, 676+ confirmed cases of Covid-19. It also has 56, 127 recoveries and 34,784 deaths. Which is higher than in any other nation around the world.

For the last 24 hours, China has recorded 1,200 death cases from Covid-19 bring the total number of death to 4, 632.

Globally, 2, 159, 450 cases have been confirmed. Out of these, 549, 592 have recovered, and 145, 568 have died.
