Jambojet has introduced a new payment plan that allows its’ clients to pay for their flights in installments.
The new plan referred to as the ‘Jaza pole pole’ aims to boost air travel uptake despite the economic disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The customers who book Jambojet tickets 60 days in advance will pay a minimum of sh 2 670 of the air ticket’s value and clear the balance in installments within three months.
Additionally, the passengers who use this platform will have a maximum of two hours to make any changes to their booking after they have deposited the initial amount.
The passengers under the plan should pay at least 50 percent of the value of their ticket 60 days before the travel date.
They are supposed to pay 90 percent of the ticket’s value 30 days before the travel date.
Customers are required to finalize the payment within 21 days before the date of the travel. to
According to the airline’s acting managing director Karanja Ndegwa, the new payment plan is a strategy adopted by the company to help people manage the pandemic’s effects on the economy.
“We understand the tough economic times and would want to ensure we cushion our customers, so that they are still able to travel when they want to,” said Mr. Ndegwa.
