President Kenyatta has announced that in the last 24 hours there have been seven more positive cases of Coronavirus. The total population of people found to be positive in the country is now at 343.
Those who have fully discovered and discharged are 98. The death cases are 14 as on Friday.
As announced by the president today at Statehouse, national wide curfew will be extended by 21 days. Cessation movement in and out Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi and Kwale Counties have also been extended by 21 days. This is all in an attempt to further curb the spread of the virus.
The USA has reported 927K confirmed cases of Coronavirus. Out of these, 101K have fully recovered while 52, 400 have died from the virus.
Worldwide, 2, 850, 387+ people have been found positive for Coronavirus. Some 812,303+ have recovered while those who have lost their lives to the virus are 198,096.
There are 1, 839,998 active cases out of which 1,781, 688 (97%) are in mild conditions while 58, 300 (3%) are in serious or critical conditions. The closed cases are 1, 010,399, which comprises the discharged cases (80 %) and the death cases (20%).
