Kenya has recorded 15 more people who have tested positive for Coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The number of confirmed cases is now at 296. Seven of the 15 cases were from Mombasa, six from Nairobi, and two from Mandera, all with no travel history. Seven are males, and 8 are females.
The surveillance team picked nine of the 15people, while six were from quarantine centers.
Dr. Mercy Mwangagi, today in the daily press release at Afya house, also reported five more persons have fully recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of recoveries in the country to 74.
Tanzania has reported the highest number of confirmed cases since the first case in their country. They reported 84 new cases for a sample taken between April 18 and April 20.
The USA has confirmed 799, 515 cases of Coronavirus, and out of these, 73, 373 people have recovered. They have the highest incidents of death worldwide, which stands at 42, 897.
Globally, 2, 494, 915 people have been confirmed to have Coronavirus while 658, 009 have recovered from it. 171, 249 people have also been reported to have died from the virus.
